Future Carrie Bradshaw?

So the highly anticipated Sex and The City: The Movie, finally came out on May 30th. The day after my birthday, lucky me. I can't say I've been a huge fan since the beginning of the show, unfortunately. I first stumbled upon it at the young age of 15,I watched one episode and knew I'd be hooked. The next day my parents got rid of the movie channels because they thought nobody would ever watch them. I forgot about it, moved on, then a few years later the episodes started airing on TBS. Even though they are sensored and just aren't the same, I watched anyway. Thanks to the many videos, articles, etc. that have been popping up lately to catch us up, I was ready for the movie. I was surprised by the recap they do at the beginning of the movie, letting you in on where the show left off, and telling you a bit about each character. You don't have to have seen any episodes to understand or enjoy the film.

But lets get on to the best part, the fashion. Every single frame had me drooling, which was a lot considering it takes about 24 frames for one second of film. (Am I correct?) The bags, the dresses, the shoes... Carrie's studded belt, which we see numerous times throughout the film, was definitely my favorite piece in the whole movie.

I keep typing my favorite outfit, then back-spacing to type a new one. I just can't decide. I want Carrie's closet. I have absolutely no problem saying, I wouldn't mind being the next Carrie Bradshaw.

Now, I'm off to Blockbuster to catch myself up.
