Boredom + fun

Derek came down yesterday, we got bored and decided to make a movie.
We chose horror for some reason, and after an hour of filming and editing, we got this two minute film.
Two minutes....haha.
The cut scenes and outtakes are longer.

Anyway, check it out!

I filmed it all with my Macbook, using the iSight camera.

Fashion Week!

NYC!

I love fashion, and Fashion Week. I especially like the Youtube videos helping keep those of us who are not famous and do not live in the most glamorous locations on Earth, up to date with what is going on. The videos are from American Express, and NYLON (the best mag ever, or one of them) also has cute, artsy videos keeping up with it.

I love the fact that everything is '20s, vintage, pin-up, classic, b&w, and as every other designer says "very Amy Winehouse."

My favorites?
up-and-coming model: Agyness Deyn
NYC Fashion Week runway shows:
Diesel

Zac Posen

Betsey Johnson

.....definetly love more.

I can't wait for the other locations.

Dvr.....and my love of.

i recently moved in with my boyfriend, (Well, recently as in four months ago) and he has dvr. At first it seemed helpful, I could record Nip/Tuck if I had to work that night or if anything came up. Then it turned into me recording shows I'd never seen so I could watch them when I was bored and see if I liked them. Then it became me having every single episode of my favorite shows recorded, awards shows, new shows, old shows. Everything.
I quickly became used to simply rewinding to the beginning if I had missed something, and fast forwarding through the annoying commercial breaks that take away ten minutes of a show. I never really watched much tv, always telling myself to focus my time on more important things. I still don't watch much tv, thanks to fast forwarding through commercials and boring parts.
But I realised how spoiled I'd become when I stayed at my moms house the other night. I was laying on the couch watching Lisa Lampenelli and every time a commercial came on I reached for the remote. Or when I missed a part (because I couldn't pause) to get something to drink I wanted to rewind, but couldn't.

So, maybe I should lay off the tv. Maybe this is just a (four month dragging on) phase and I'll get bored of dvr soon.
Oh well, I just felt like writing about it. : )
